The system has a transceiver device (13) transmitting parameters of a user or defined by the user to and receiving parameters from another user. A warning unit warns the former user about the possibility of establishing contact with the latter user based on received parameters. A comparison unit transmits a signal to the warning unit when the degree of similarity between the transmitted and received parameters is minimum or determined. The parameters include surname, sex, age, birth date, height, weight, astral sign, hair color, eye color, marital status, place of residence, mother tongue, e-mail address, photo, and voice message. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a medium comprising program instructions to program an apparatus with a contact search system; and (b) a method for exchanging discrete information.
