PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning sheet, the manufacturing cost of which is reduced by simplifying the manufacturing process, and having a high cleaning effect. SOLUTION: The cleaning sheet 1 is structured by superposing a wiping portion 3 on at least one main side of a base material portion 2, welding join sheets 2 and 3 so that joints 7 are linear, integrally cutting the base material portion 2 and the wiping portion 3 at prescribed positions so as to cross nearly perpendicularly to the joints 7 and so as not to cross the joints 7, so that an oblong strip portion 8 and a slit portion 6 are formed in the base material portion 2 and the wiping portion 3 and then the oblong strip portion 8 is formed by cutting the wiping portion 3 between the joints 7 and 7.
