PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by determining that operation is requested from either one of a driver's seat or a front passenger seat, and enabling correspondence suitable for an operator. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle input device comprises an operating portion 70 provided in a center console between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat, and selectively operating a plurality of functions by being gripped and moved; a pressure sensor 72 provided on the operating portion 70, and detecting positions of fingers grasping the operating portion 70, and a control portion controlling the plurality of the functions. The control portion determined by which of right and left hands the operating portion 70 was grasped on the basis of a signal from the finger pressure sensor 72, the fingers of the operator grasp the operating portion 70.
