<p>A hatchback automobile has a load platform with a transverse floor trough behind a row of seats. The trough accommodates a rolled up net within a flexible outer frame. The net is made of elastic material and is tautened over loose baggage on the floor. In use, the net rear edge is secured to floor fixtures near the hatch. When the net is deployed the surrounding side frame locates in grooves in the load platform sidewalls or floor.</p> |
