PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of use of an information terminal device by easily performing self-diagnosis of the information terminal for performing radio communication with each device. SOLUTION: Upon start of diagnosis of an operation of the information device capable of performing radio communication with each device (S1), a radio communication processor serving as an information transmission/reception section is diagnosed (S2), a data communication processor always connected to an information processing server apparatus via a data communication line network is diagnosed (S3), a voice communication processor capable of communicating with an external telephone via a voice communication line network serving as a telephone line is diagnosed (S4), and a battery serving as a backup power source is diagnosed to check the residual capacity of a battery (S5). Immediately after that, results of diagnoses are displayed on the screen of the information terminal device (S6), and the user can recognize the displayed results. Subsequently, the results of the diagnoses are transmitted as information from the information terminal device to the information processing server via the data communication processor.
