<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize visualization of an object covered by an obstruction intervening between it and a viewpoint, by a simpler method reducing a processing burden, in an image generation apparatus for generating an image in a three-dimensional space viewed from a given viewpoint. <P>SOLUTION: The condition of a game space shown in (b) including a ball 20 as an object of display control and an obstruction 30 intervening between a virtual camera 10 and the ball 20 is displayed as a game screen shown in (a). Specifically, a visible portion 22 of the ball 20 visible from the virtual camera 10 is displayed, and as for an invisible portion 24 invisible from the virtual camera 10, the border line of the invisible portion 24 and text indicating the presence of the ball 20 behind the obstruction 30 are displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
