A gas detecting sensor is provided to improve workability and to reduce the manufacturing cost for the gas detecting sensor by forming a support member at an upper portion of a connection pin member. A gas detecting sensor includes a cover member(11). The cover member(11) is attached to an upper portion of the gas detecting sensor and is provided at a center portion thereof with a filter(12). A support body member(20) is coupled to a lower end of the cover member(11). A plurality of insulation glasses(40) are provided in the support body member(20) and a plurality of connection pin members(30) are interposed between the insulation glasses(40). A gas detecting chip(50) is bonded to an upper portion of the connection pin member(30) by means of epoxy.
