<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which contact reliability of a short point is ensured. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a first display plate, a second display plate and a plurality of short points. The first display plate has a first electrode formed thereon. The second display plate has a second electrode formed thereon. The short point electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode. The first display plate has a first edge and a second edge. The second edge defines a first corner part together with the first edge. The second display plate has a third edge and a fourth edge. The fourth edge defines a second corner part together with the third edge. The first edge and the second edge coincide with each other on the projection plane, and the third edge and the fourth edge coincide with each other on the projection plane.
