<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode with polymer film and a lithium-sulfur battery adopting the same. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode has a positive electrode activator formed on the upper part of a conductive supporting body. The positive electrode activator contains sulfur single element and at least a sulfur having a form selected from metal sulfide and metal polysulfide. The surface of the positive electrode activator is covered by the polymer film containing nonaqueous electrolyte, and the holes on the positive electrode activator is filled with polymeric substance containing the nonaqueous electrolyte. On the lithium-sulfur battery adopting the above positive electrode, utilizing ratio of the positive electrode activator is heightened, and cycle property and battery capacity is improved, and the swelling of the positive electrode can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
