SAFETY DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

A safety device for an elevator is provided to substantially connect or cut off a dynamic force by turning on/off the power of a solenoid, while a driving motor is used only when a mobile plate is separated, thereby realizing a small-capacity and low-cost device. A connection member(140) is connected to a mobile plate(120) to separate the mobile plate(120) from a fixing plate(110). A driving motor generates a rotational force. A reduction machine embeds a warmup gear therein to reduce a rotational speed of the motor. A bracket is rotatively installed on a housing(100) at a supporting axis. A driving gear(196) rotates in connection with an output axis of the reduction machine. A driven gear(160) is selectively engaged with the driving gear(196). A rotational axis(152) rotates by the driven gear(160). An eccentric cam(150) separates the mobile plate(120) from the fixing plate(110) by straightly moving the connection member(140). A solenoid(170) comprises a plunger(172) for rotating the bracket.
