PURPOSE: A backlash removing device of a feeding device is to use for any kinds of machine tools and to precisely machine workpieces by removing backlash by making pitch difference between helices fine. CONSTITUTION: In a feeding device for moving up or down a work table installed on a base, a backlash removing device has a helical shaft(3) screw-combined with base helices(12) of a base attaching tool(11) stuck to the base. The pitch of recessed groove helices(131) formed at a base recessed groove(13) mounted in the base attaching tool is different from the base helices. An adjusting tool(4) is composed of inner ring helices(41) screw-combined with the helical shaft and outer ring helices(42) screw-combined with the recessed groove screw-combined, and is inserted into the base recessed groove. Pitch difference between the base helices and the recessed groove helices is within 10%.
