PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device allowing easy and proper item selection operation.

SOLUTION: An operator grasping a casing 2 slidingly operates an operation button 3 of an operation member 12 exposed from a window hole 2a by a thumb to move a cursor 43 inside an item selection screen to a desired selection item 40. The front end face of a finger hook projection part 2c projectingly provided on the rear face of the casing 2 is disposed with an operation knob 4, and a changeover of the item selection screen such as page feeding or a scroll is performed when pressingly operating the operation knob 4 by a forefinger to turn on a push switch 29.
