PURPOSE: An FFS(Fringe Field Switching) mode LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve viewing angle and prevent color change in accordance with viewing angles, thereby obtaining a good display quality despite outside impact, by forming a pixel electrode to have wedge shaped slits or circular shaped slits. CONSTITUTION: An FFS mode LCD comprises a counter electrode(15), a pixel electrode(19) overlapping with the counter electrode, and a gate insulating layer disposed between the counter electrode and the pixel electrode. The counter electrode has a square plate shaped configuration. The pixel electrode has wedge shaped slits(19a). Herein, adjacent wedge shaped slits are disposed at different directions. The pixel electrode is capable of having circular shaped slits instead of the wedge shaped slits. The circular shaped slits has different sizes.
