<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and method for curtailing work loss and material loss by inspecting an electrode sheet at a manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection device, provided with a cathode electrode supplied with an oxidant containing oxygen and an anode electrode supplied with fuel gas-containing hydrogen, for inspecting the electrode sheet arranged between the both electrodes, has a pair of pinching plates arranged in parallel at both outside faces of the cathode electrode and the anode electrode and is further provided with a gas supply means supplying air to the cathode electrode and the anode electrode, a voltage supply means applying voltage between the both electrodes, and a means for measuring electric signals by voltage application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
