PURPOSE: A lever-type steering system is provided to make a peripheral structure of a driver's seat simple by moving both levers oppositely to each other with a differential system between the levers and to improve steering reliability by transmitting exactly operation force of the lever to wheels. CONSTITUTION: A lever-type steering system is composed of both steering levers(21R,21L) positioned at both sides of a driver's seat(20) to move longitudinally; both lever shafts(23R,23L) positioned coaxially and rotated according to the operation of the steering levers; a reverse-rotation transmitting unit(25) arranged between the lever shafts to send rotary power for turning the lever shafts in the opposite direction; and an operation force transmitting unit(30) for sending rotary power of the lever shafts to both wheels. A lower end of the steering lever is connected to both lever shafts.
