PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display apparatus which can convert a drawing object to another drawing object by using a conventional drawing editor. SOLUTION: The display apparatus is provided with a monitoring means which executes a preliminarily determined operation in accordance with a preliminarily determined state of a device. In this case, a transparent object 21<SB>ob</SB>displays, as the preliminarily determined operation, a drawing object (22<SB>ob</SB>and 23<SB>ob</SB>) of order corresponding to the status of the device among the drawing objects (22<SB>ob</SB>and 23<SB>ob</SB>) of an object 24<SB>ob</SB>, which becomes its own parent.
