PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material which has a high liquid-drawing property, can quickly absorb a liquid, is bulky, and has a soft hand. SOLUTION: This sheet material 10 is formed by laminating the first fiber layer 1 comprising three-dimensionally crimped fibers to the second fiber layer 2 comprising the same or different three-dimensionally crimped fibers, wherein the crimping degree of the three-dimensionally crimped fibers contained in the second fiber layer 2 is larger than the crimping degree of the three-dimensionally crimped fibers contained in the first fiber layer 1, and the apparent density of the second fiber layer 2 is larger than the apparent density of the first fiber layer 1.
