FIELD: cutting of sheets of securities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cutting securities in piles. Pile of sheets is fed under cutter and first free strip is cut. Then pile is turned and fed under cutter which cuts second strip after which pile is turned again and is directed to cutter for cutting third strip. This done, piles of strips of securities following each other are cut into separate securities. ^ EFFECT: reduced time taken for cutting securities. ^ 8 cl, 3 dwg
