PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically selling instant lottery ticket in a lottery ticket sale terminal through the online are provided to save expense for printing/distributing/collecting the lottery ticket by automatically issuing the lottery ticket through the online. CONSTITUTION: A lottery ticket management computer(105) generates lottery ticket issuance information and processes an inquiry for a drawing result of the lottery ticket through a communication network(109). The lottery ticket sale terminals(111-11N) enable a user to buy the desired lottery ticket by receiving the lottery ticket issuance information from the lottery ticket management computer after inputting cash to the lottery ticket management computer through the communication network. To enable a winner to confirm the drawing result when the winner receives the prize money, a financial institution computer(107) transmits the data by receiving information for the drawn lottery tickets from the lottery ticket management server.
