PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow nondestructive diagnosis even under a radiation environment, and to enhance measuring precision, operability, safety and workability, in an optical fiber probe device. SOLUTION: In this nondestructive diagnostic device provided with an optical fiber probe, and using a reflection absorbance difference of light on a sample surface, a tip portion of the optical fiber probe is made removable, the tip portion of the optical fiber probe is recessed, the tip portion is thereby removed to be carried to an outside of a radiation control area, in the case where a contaminant deposited on the measuring object surface is deposited on the probe tip portion, when used in the control area, and the diagnostic precision is enhanced in the measuring object having a round surface such as a cable.
