PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register the position of a mobile terminal equipment to a public network and any of one private network or over. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal equipment 4 selects a base station attached to a network whose reception power indicates a communication proper level and which provides least cost routing among a public network base station 15 and private network base stations 22,32,33 and registers its position to a selected base station of the network. In the case that the position registration is made to the private network 2, or 3, the position registration is reported to the public network l via the private network. The public network 1 stores the network to which the mobile terminal equipment 4 makes position registration to a position registration database 14. When the reception power of a base station of a network providing less communication charge than that of the network to which the position registration is made at present reaches a communication proper level, the position registration is switched to the network of the base station. In the case that the position registration is switched between private networks, the changeover of the position registration is reported to the public network 1 via the private network and the public network 1 stores it. Upon the receipt of a call reception request by the public network 1, the public network 1 calls the mobile terminal equipment 4 from the network to which the mobile terminal equipment 4 makes the position registration. |
