PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric surgical instrument that does not complicate the structure of the instrument and reduce cost increases. SOLUTION: In this electric surgical instrument, biological tissue is incised and coagulated by high frequency power. The condition of the biological tissue is detected by an electric sensor 29, and a condition detection signal is output. On the basis of a condition detection signal output from the electric sensor 29 through an A/D converter, a CPU 24 controls the output value of the high frequency power. Then, on the basis of the operation of the parameter of the output current, the electric sensor 29 detects the condition of the biological tissue. |
