PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume hologram having high visibility and designing property in which a reproduced image without having an irregular brightness or shade depending on the observation direction can be obtained, and to provide a method of manufacturing the hologram. SOLUTION: In a transmissive or reflective volume hologram 9, a reproduced image 10 reproduced by the volume hologram 9 is a three-dimensional object image continuing from the back side to the front side across the hologram recording face. The reproduced three-dimensional object image is a three-dimensional object image continuing from the back side to the front side and at least partially having a diffusive face.
