GRAFT-MODIFIED ORGANIC POROUS BODY AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft-modified organic porous body in which polymer chains are densely introduced on the surface of an organic porous body and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The graft-modified organic porous body has polymer chains grafted to the surface of the organic porous body which has an open cell structure having mesopores with diameters of 0.01-1,000 μm in the walls of mutually communicated macropores and micropores and polymer chains grafted to the surface of the organic porous body with a total volume pore volume of 1-50 mL/g. The density of the polymer chains on the surface area of the organic porous body is at least 0.1/nm2.
