SHAFT COUPLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling of highly durable structure capable of effectively preventing the generation of noise and friction between a driving shaft and a driven shaft. SOLUTION: This shaft coupling is provided with a coupling main body 3 formed from a rigid material and an elastic spacer formed from a rubber-like elastic material and arranged in the coupling main body 3 for abutment in the axial direction. Presser projecting parts 42 formed in the elastic spacer are previously compressed between a connection hole 31 of the coupling main body 3 and torque transmitting pieces 11 and 21 of the driving shaft or the driven shaft inserted into the connection hole, and push the torque transmitting pieces 11 and 21 to torque receiver surfaces 33a and 33b of the connection hole 31 to prevent the generation of rattle.
