PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dispersibility and stability of a gas phase silica, and to provide gloss, ink absorbing properties and light resistance.

SOLUTION: This inkjet recording material is composed of providing at least one ink receiving layer on a water-resistant substrate, and comprising the gas phase silica dispersed with a dendorimer in the ink receiving layer.
