PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium secondary battery which is improved storage characteristic and is useful as a reflow secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode(2); a negative electrode(1); a separator(3); and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a solute and a solvent, wherein the separator comprises a glass fiber and the negative electrode comprises a lithium-aluminium-manganese alloy. Preferably the glass fiber comprises a borosilicate glass or a quartz glass; the lithium-aluminium-manganese alloy is obtained by electrochemically inserting lithium into an aluminium-manganese alloy; and the ratio of manganese in the aluminium-manganese alloy is 0.1-10 wt%. Preferably the solute comprises lithium perfluoroalkyl sulfonylimide; and the solvent comprises polyethylene glycol dialkyl ether.
