PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operationality of a remote controller which is provided with a pointing device. SOLUTION: An enter key 24, which has the function corresponding to the button of a mouse, is prepared in a remote controller having a pointing device 20. An enter key 24 is provided with a light-emitting diode, inside which can switch the emitted light color according to whether an operation mode of the pointing device is a drag mode or not, and informs the user that the operation mode is in drag mode, when is so, according to the light color emitted.
