<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver for a motorized two-wheel vehicle, which can drive an electric two-wheeled vehicle by switching an operation mode into a power mode, without giving burden to a driver in a situation which needs power, while meeting the request that he should drive the motorized two-wheel vehicle, giving priority to economical efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The driver for the motorized two-wheel vehicle is equipped with a motor 28, which drives a drive wheel 22 and a motor drive controller 30 which drives this motor in a power performance priority driving mode or an economical efficiency priority driving mode. The motor drive controller 30 obtains the rate of change of throttle operation amount from the measurements of a throttle operation amount sensor, executes the control of switching the present operation mode into another operation mode during a specified time, according to this change rate, and restores it to the former operation mode, after the passage of this specified time interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
