PERMEATION TYPE ADHESIVE AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING STEEL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a permeation type adhesive which is rapidly penetrated into a minute gap and with which adhesion and fixation are carried out at fixed strength and steel structure is repaired simply, safely and firmly using the permeation type adhesive even if a fatigue crack is caused at any part of the steel structure. SOLUTION: The two component adhesive is obtained by mixing a main agent consisting essentially of an epoxy resin with a curing agent in the weight ratio of 3:1. The main agent comprises at least a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, a modified urethane epoxy resin, a chelate coupling agent and a polyepoxy-based reactive diluent.
