A light conductor coupling has a first and a second coupling part which coupling parts are couplable with one another and in each of which a light conducting element is held. At least one of the light conducting elements is elastically biased so that the two light conducting elements are pressed against one another with their end surfaces when the coupling parts are coupled with one another, to allow the transmission of light from one light conducting elemen t to the other. The end surface of the one light conducting element is spherically concave and the end surface of the other light conducting element is formed spherically convex with the same radius of curvature.
