PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a retreat position of a swing arm in alignment of the final sheet in order to shorten the time for the sheet post-treatment. SOLUTION: The time required for an opening/closing action of the swing arm is shortened by switching the retreat position of the swing arm by whether or not the paper is discharged to a processing tray without inhibiting the sheet from being discharged to the processing tray and impairing an aligning property of a bundle of sheets loaded on the processing tray.
