The mounting for attaching a table leg (14) to the top (13) comprises a pin (4) attached to a plate (3) which is screwed to the table top. This fits into a socket (2) mounted on the end of the leg. A grub screw (12) mounted in the socket wall fits into a peripheral groove (6) on the pin.
