ARTERIOSCLEROSIS EVALUATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arteriosclerosis evaluation apparatus, simply obtaining arteriosclerosis evaluation index where the degree of arteriosclerosis of an organism is accurately reflected noninvasively.

SOLUTION: In this arteriosclerosis evaluation apparatus, arteriosclerosis index CAVI indicating the degree of arteriosclerosis of the organism is calculated on the basis of the pulse wave propagation velocity information determined by a pulse wave propagation velocity information determining means 70 and the blood pressure value determined by a blood pressure value determining means 60 by an arteriosclerosis index calculating means 78. Thus, the arteriosclerosis index CAVI where the degree of arteriosclerosis of the organism 16 is accurately reflected can be obtained noninvasively.
