PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle such as a motorcycle having construction improving ride-on/off performance. SOLUTION: The saddle type vehicle comprises: a seat 50 provided at the upper part of the vehicle for a rider to seat; and a cowl 60 and a guard 70 including portions overlapped with the rider in a side view, provided on the front side of the seat 50. At least parts of the cowl 60 and the guard 70 are movable between a predetermined travel fixed position and a position of securing ride-on/off performance forming a ride-on/off space on the front side of the seat 50.
