PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container valve with an overfill preventing function, an overrelease and overflow preventing function and a remaining gas collecting function at the same time, totally avoiding water-hammer pressure and sufficiently developing the overfill preventing function. SOLUTION: The container valve comprises a valve body P joined to a container storing gas generative liquid under pressurized condition, an on-off valve provided at the upper end of the valve body P, a release port for releasing gas when the on-off valve is open, a rod 22 provided in the valve body P in an up-and-down movable manner, a float 25 connected to the lower end of the rod 22 via a cam mechanism 24, a moving valve element 16 loosely fitted to the upper end of the rod 22 in a relatively up-and-down movable manner, an upper valve seat 17 corresponding to the upper face of the moving valve element 16, a lower valve seat corresponding to the lower face of the moving valve element 16, and the cam mechanism 24 for locating the rod 22 at the lowest position when the float 25 is at a filling completion position.
