<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-supply system of a fuel cell which raises the temperature of the cooling water, without consuming hydrogen at the initial starting time. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen-supply system of the fuel cell comprises a hydrogen storage unit, a hydride storage unit, a reactor/gas separator to generate an oxide and hydrogen, a heat exchanger to transfer the heat contained in hydrogen to the cooling water, a regenerator to receive the supply of the oxide from the reactor/gas separator and hydrogen from the hydrogen storing unit to form a hydride aqueous solution, a first open/close valve installed in a connecting pipe to connect the hydrogen storing unit and a fuel cell stack, a second open/close valve installed in a connecting pipe to connect the hydrogen storing unit and the regenerator, a third open/close valve installed in a connecting pipe to connect the heat exchanger and the fuel cell stack, a cooling water temperature detector to detect the temperature of the cooling water supplied to the fuel cell stack, and to provide signals, and a control unit to output control-signals to actuate to open/close the first, second and third valves, based on the signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
