<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic apparatus which can easily and inexpensively perform the connection of the electric wire, etc. to the soldering terminals of an electromagnetic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic apparatus constitutes a discharge lamp lighting circuit by connecting a plurality of the soldering terminals 26a to 26c, 27a and 27b arranged with each other and mounted in the electromagnetic apparatus body 21, a capacitor, a discharge resistor, and a current fuse 36 with leads 38 via a plurality of insulator-covered electric wires 51 to 55 to be soldered to them. A holder 41 made of an electrical insulator is mounted on the body 21. The holder 41 has an electrical wire holding unit 46 supported by engaging with parts of the insulator-covered wires 51 to 55, a current fuse holding unit 47 and the leads 38 or the conductive wire ends 51a to 55a of the insulator-covered wires, and a plurality of openings 44a to 44c, 45a and 45b in which the soldering terminals are disposed.
