PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of providing a technique for postbleaching bleached kraft pulp by which the bleached kraft pulp of high whiteness can be produced and the response can be made to even a change in whiteness required for raw material pulp accompanied with an exchange of type or brand of paper and further reducing a cooking chemical and/or a bleaching chemical and a papermaking chemical wastefully used in relation to a method for changing the whiteness of the papermaking bleached kraft pulp. SOLUTION: A method for postbleaching the bleached kraft pulp comprises adding a bleaching agent to the pulp before beating the bleached kraft pulp after completing the treatment of a bleaching step in a preparing step.
