<p>The angle-bisecting vectors are displayed for a number of adjacent points on a three-dimensional curve, and areas of high surface quality are indicated by vectors aligned in the same direction. The vectors are determined by forming two vectors from three sequential points on the curve, and respective normal vectors of a middle point arranged as a vector product, perpendicular on a plane defined by the two vectors. These normal vectors are rotated by 90 degrees so that the angle-bisecting vector lies between the two vectors, bisecting the angle.</p> |
