PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand-containing tire, reducing the abrasion and prolonging the duration of a service life together with improving the braking performance of the grounded surface by including sand in the rubber part of a tire. SOLUTION: An automobile tire is included with sand in accordance with a type of a tire. Some types of tire contains sand in its whole area and other types of tire may contain sand only in its whole or partial ground contacting area (tread surface). Sand to be contained is different in particle sizes and in selection of hard sand or soft sand, and is adjusted in a content ratio by type or by use of a tire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
