<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly exactly bundle an item to be bundled such as an electric wire or the like with a bundling band pulled out from a reel without producing a surplus portion in the band and to easily insert the tip end portion of the band into the body of the bundling tool. <P>SOLUTION: The through-hole 11 of the body 10 of the bundling tool A is sized such that doubly overlapped bands 100 can be inserted. A pair of metallic engaging hooks 33 and 33 are face to face mounted so that they project into the hole 11, and they have elasticity. The mutual clearance T between the tip end portions 34 and 34 of the pair of the engaging hooks 33 and 33 are broad enough for the monolayer band 100 to be inserted and is a little narrower than the thickness t2 of the doubly overlapped bands. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
