The invention concerns a method for synchronizing an equalizer output symbols, characterized in that the equalizer is a blind equalizer and that it consists in inserting upon transmission in a succession of symbols transmitted at least one known sequence of symbols which is repeated in said succession of symbols, and in carrying out in said blind equalizer output detection of said sequence, and in deducing from said detection a possible shift of the blind equalizer output symbols and in resetting the blind equalizer output symbols on the basis of said detected shift.
