PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil which has a vibration resistance against vibration of an automobile while assuring a characteristic that saturation is not easily generated even for a large current. SOLUTION: The choke coil comprises an edgewise coil 16 having a through-hole 17, a magnetic core 18 inserted into this through-hole 17 which includes a closed magnetic path and is formed of a dust core, terminals 13 formed at both ends of the edgewise coil 16, and an external package 11 covering the edgewise coil 16 and magnetic core 18 including the closed magnetic path in the manner that the terminals 13 are projected. The terminals 13 are projected in zig-zag from the external packages 11 and a part 15 of the root 14 of the terminals 13 is covered with the external packages 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
