REINFORCING STRUCTURE FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE BODY, AND REINFORCING METHOD FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcing structure for providing a concrete structure body with a sufficient bearing force, and a reinforcing method for the concrete structure body for obtaining an efficient reinforcing effect also on an existing structure body. SOLUTION: A bridge pier 1 is composed of two columnar sections 3 formed of reinforced concrete, and a wall-like section 4 continuously provided between the columnar sections 3. A reinforcing fiber sheet 5 is wound around the bridge pier 1 continuously in a circumferential direction, and four concrete blocks 6 are provided at corners respectively through the reinforcing fiber sheet 5. The concrete blocks 6 are pressed to the wall-like section 4 by tension materials 7 passing through the wall-like section and the concrete blocks opposed through the wall-like section. The reinforcing fiber sheet 5 is thereby bonded firmly to the corners, and when a large horizontal force in case of an earthquake or the like is applied to the bridge pier 1, oblique tensile force caused by a shearing force is positively transmitted to the reinforcing fiber sheet 5 to prevent a shear fracture from occurring in the bridge pier 1.
