PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an adjusting motion inside an adapter element integrated in a Bowden cable after arriving at a stopper. SOLUTION: A housing 4 with a slide sleeve 6 arranged therein is provided and an adjusting element 8 is housed in the slide sleeve 6 movably in a longitudinal direction against the spring force. The adjusting element 8 and the slide sleeve 6 have housing parts 12, 26 for suspending a wire of the Bowden cable section. An abutting element 44 is provided in the housing 4 or being in contact with the housing 4. The slide sleeve 6 is constituted to abut on the abutting element 44 after a prescribed adjusting stroke passes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
