FROZEN FRUIT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain frozen fruits prevented from deteriorating color tone of the surface of fruit for a long period without performing complicated operation, excellent in retention of fruit shape and water content, and palate feeling and free from adhering to each other regardless of package form, and to provide a method for producing the frozen fruits.

SOLUTION: The frozen fruits are obtained by freezing fruits. The sugar content of the fruit is Bx10°or more. A coating layer containing at least one selected from a gelling agent and thickening polysaccharides is formed on the surface of the fruit.
