<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve value of a remote controller by miniaturizing a form of the remote controller, improving design and improving communication reliability by performing radio communications while utilizing a semiconductor chip of a battery-less IC card to be used for a non-contact IC card or the like in place of infrared communications. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control system is composed of control object equipment with a carrier transmitting-receiving means for transmitting-receiving carrier packaged therein and the remote controller having a carrier receiving/reflecting means for receiving the carrier transmitted from the carrier transmitting-receiving means, modulating/demodulating the carrier and redirecting the carrier. The system's own operating power source is generated by the carrier from the control object equipment. The carrier made incident to an antenna is unidirectionally rectified by a rectifier diode, charged to a coil and converted to a DC voltage by a smoothing capacitor. The DC voltage is supplied to the operating power source of the wireless semiconductor chip. The DC voltage is used together with a battery to reduce the battery capacity of the remote controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
