PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the versatility of a flange type pipe spring usable (applicable) by a simple constitution and to improve the assembling property, stable operability and durability of a hinge device. SOLUTION: Flange type pipe springs 10a, 10b have spring bodies each formed with a cut opening from one end to the other end along the longitudinal direction of a cylindrical shape, and flanges radially projected along the circumference of one end. The hinge device using the flange type pipe springs has insertion holes 22a, 22b and 22c, 22d formed as rotation preventing fixtures in a first bracket 20, and the flanges formed at one end are fixed by the rotation preventing fixtures. Further, shafts 30a, 30b are piercingly fitted into through holes of the flange type pipe springs 10a, 10b and rotatably fixed to a second bracket 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
