PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that a replacement period of a cartridge is accelerated to make effective use of resources impossible in the case of a failure to accurately recognize the quantity of remaining toner in a toner supply container in an image forming apparatus and the problem that it is necessary to more precisely control the quantity of toner supply to fix a ratio of toner to carrier (toner density) of a developing device, especially, in a toner supply two-component developer developing system in order to satisfy increasing need for images of higher quality.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a first developer storage part for storing a toner therein, a toner supply member for supplying the toner in the first developer storage part to a second developer storage part, and a control part for controlling the operation of the toner supply member on the basis of information about the quantity of toner consumption in the first developer storage part and information about fluidity of the toner.
